Mistley
Colonel ran out a decent winner of the opening A8. He paced up
well after an average start, drove the bend and led from the second
bend. Black
Axel kept on for second.
The H2 went to Siesta
Romeo. He broke well, but was high at all the hurdles. He led on
the run in. Westridge
Faith made the early pace, but faded on the run in.
Morell
Warrior was a dood winner of the H1. He trapped well and kicked
clear for a decisive win. Lodge
Mentor was crowded on the run up and ran on for second.
Mays
Baileysbest landed the poor S3. Comeonthreedog
made the early running, but faded after being headed at the 5th
bend. Luciesilvas
stayed on for second. Mays
Baileysbest previously won 7 races from 27 at Crayford and got
into a weak event here.
Inbetween
Dreams made most of the running in the A7, but was wide at the
bends and was caught on the run in. Smooth
Cantona kept on and grabbed the lead near the line. Lewden
Lass looked pretty unlucky as he was crowded at several points.
He went from the rails from trap 4, so may be one to consider back
on the Bags, particularly when better drawn.
Jalee
Storm made all to land a poor A7. Centaur
Elise rode a few bumps, but had a dwell up when holding every
chance.
Freedom
Man was going for a hattrick in the A6. He showed nice early
pace once again and led round. He faded on the run in and was caught
by Bling.
Bling
had been coming home well in his previous races and turned handy
enough and the always looked the likelier winner.
Clear
Decision landed a four timer when winning the S1. He again was
very slow away, but got to the front earlier than normal (at the 5th
bend), as this was a weaker race than on a few of his last wins. Millwards
Summit towed him along to the 5th bend, before fading on the run
in.
Mystical
Bunny set the early pace in the A5, but faded rather quickly
after being headed at the 3/4. Clonbrin
Mai followed up on his decent win last time, leading from the
3/4. Sparkys
Stag kept on for second after a slow start.
Kid
Joker made all to land the A4. He ran middle & moved off at
half way and held on by half a length from the staying on Coolanga
Flyer.
Sharons
Best made all to win the closing S2. She wasn't too strong and
held on to win. Localimprovement
plodded on for second.
