Baran Red makes a decent 6 bend debut

Tuesday's card was an average graded card.

Small Wonder led in a field of slow starters in the opening A9. Lisnakill Spike showed some early pace after a slow start and took over nearing the 3rd bend. Ballymac Martins was erratic & crowded on the run up before running on ok. He took up the running on the run in & had a dwell up, before consenting to get on with the job. He's from a good family, but is obviously one to be wary of based on this. 

Centaur Fuzzums found himself in a weak race and was sent off 5/4 favvy. He broke well and made all. Pennys Chapter ran rails from T2 & was crowded on the run up. She paced up well to the bend and plugged on for second.

Odell Inca made all to land the S4 shitters race. He was one paced on the run in, but had plenty in hand. Dogtor On Call kept on and held second, despite fading near the line.

Droopys Giamatti made all to win on his debut in the A8. He held on desperately in the end, but is a scopey sort and can build upon this. Mistley Colonel challenged throughout & held every chance in second.

Jumokee  Prince paced up well after a modest start in the A7. He ran rails & led from the first bend. Kinda Flashy was clumsy when holding every chance at the last bend. He went down by the minimum margin.

Baran Red started well & ran away with the S3. This was a very bright 6 bend debut. Whilst the gap between an S3 & S2 is not insignificant, he looks like he'll do pretty well based on this evidence. Sirena plugged on for second..

Chilli Blue made all to land a weak A7. Centaur Lucky stayed on for second after suffering crowding at the 1st bend. Set Free was smashed up at the 1st bend after a slow start.

Milwaukee Tools cracked out & made all for a convincing win in the A5. The old rogue got on with it this time. Wheres The Girls was crowded at the 1st bend, was not fluent at the 3rd bend, but still managed 2nd.

Genesis Sister started best in the and led round in the S1. Toosey Tops took over on the back straight for the final time, but faded on the run in, allowing Genesis Sister to get back on top near the line.

Josim Darkie made all to land the A4. Ortuna got a clear run and plodded on for 2nd. 

Fitzie made all and ran out a decent winner of the A3. Journey East plugged on for second and has now not won for 15 ups. Vigorous Whitney was crowded at the 1st, but never looked like getting competitive.

Treacle Rose showed the best EP in the A2, but was outpaced at half way by Black As Coal. Black As Coal paced up well off the second bend and held on by the narrowest margin to beat his kennel mate, Noirs Speedy, who came home well after a tardy start.

Blues Wish was sent off twos on in the normal desperate S2 finale. She was slowly away, crowded at the 3rd bend and never got in the race. Fear Martina started well and led round. Airtech Spur ran on and led from the 3/4. This was his 3rd win from 24 races and says plenty about the race. .
