Focus Wink made all to land the opening P7. He showed some
promise last time and stayed on a bit better tonight.
Glengarry turned more than handy and could not (or would not)
get on terms.
Following 3 seconds on the row,
Lazy Lob was still went off fav in the S4. They don't get much
weaker than this and it seemed like Moses parted the way for
Lazy Lob at the 5th bend! He made the most of the opportunity
and pulled away to win by 8 1/2 lengths. The other were not worth a
mention.
When you see a H3 at the Stow, you know you are going to plenty of
incidents.
Feedback led at the first, but looked to go lame near the 3rd
bend.
Vinnos Magic was left clear at the 3rd bend, but faded on the
run in.
Omeugo Mison got a lucky run and led from the last hurdle.
Noirs Heidi was sent off 5/4 fav in the A6, despite a tricky
looking draw. When
Reachfar Delsjoy missed the break on her inside, it looked like
Noirs Heidi might be in for a comfortable win. She paced up
after a modest break and was crowded at the 1st bend.
Loughteen Laura led at the 1st bend.
Noirs Heidi quickened going into the 3rd bend and led at the
3/4. Instead of going away, she lugged in on the run in and held on
by a head. Perhaps she's one to be wary of next time.
Lady Clarissa led round in the S3, but failed to see out the
trip and faded from the last bend.
Irate Kate was clumsy at the 5th bend and kept on to lead on the
run in.
Crocodile Tears faded from the last bend, but still held on for
second.
Kid Joker made all to land the P5. He was another of those that
didn't check and ease when he turned in front.
Genesis Jose was outpaced and crowded at the 1st bend, before
coming home well. He has not got his head in front in 7 attempts,
but must surely win soon on his showing.
Beat Them Jenny led round in the A4, but moved aside at half way
and ran poorly thereafter.
Swing Low hit the front at the 3rd bend, but waited.
Pillow Man needed no 2nd invitation and stayed on to lead from
the 3/4.
Cranham Girl shot out of the traps in the S1 and held a sizeable
advantage at half way. However, she could not sustain the gallop and
she faded from the last bend and was caught near the line. After a
very slow start,
Clear Decision stayed on and led near the line.
Placid Jill ran disappointingly in third.
Bitofamonkey showed plenty of pace last week, but suffered lots
of trouble in running. He was sent off a well backed 7/4 fav in the
P4. He smashed the lids and put in an awesome performance, winning
by 6 lengths in a superb 28.64. He'll go up at least two grades for
this.
Pinewood King plodded on for second.
Farloe Chisom made all and landed the A2, He eased at the 3rd
bend (again) and held on by a head from
Noirs Speedy, who came home well after suffering crowding at the
2nd bend.
Maneen Haka broke well and led round in the A1.
Noirs Denis cam home very strongly to lead on the run in. He was
outpaced and crowded at the 2nd bend, but turned on the turbo on the
run for home!
Localimprovement led round in the weak S2 finale.
Fat Man Dan took over at the 3rd bend and went on to score. For
a dog who's not the strongest of stayers, he's winning his share
with his early pace.
