The
opening P9 was a very moderate race. Hillcross
Shaker led a field of slow starters, was headed by Jordinho
at the 3rd bend, but came back to lead as Jordinho
faded on the run in. Hillcross
Shaker was very one paced on the run in. Imperial
Singer kept on for second.
Jos
Cigar made all in the H1. He looked to be faded from the last
hurdle, but as Castleivy
Sand close up, he pulled out more.
Dapper
Chick made most of the running, going wide at the first, in the
A7. Julies
Flight also ran wide and drove the first two bends well. She
stayed on and led near the line.
The S4 was a
shocker. Courage
Best led for a few bends before Airtech
Choice took over at the 4th bend. They all bunched up between
the last two bends and Spooky
Pacific had a fight on the run in. Chloes
Molly came from last to first to lead at the last bend. Caseys
Winner plugged on for second.
Our
Dog Brandy ran out a decent winner of the A7. In a field of slow
starters, he paced up best and led round. He pulled clear and looked
set to win by a wide margin. However, he ran very wide at the last
bend and allowed Bling
to close the final margin to 3/4 of a length. Bling
was modestly away and stayed on and was clear of the rest. Snap
ran rails and collided with Armistice
at the start.
Robbies
Kewell made all and ran out a decent winner of the A6. Form
Of Love kept on ok for second. There was a pile up behind as Form
Of Love moved off and bumped Shan
Rica, and a domino effect caused the pile up.
Annes
Sian made all and landed the S2. Sandy
Lane stayed on and finished a neck second and did not seem to be
getting on with it properly.
Beluga
ran middle and led up early in the A5. Many
Memories led from the second bend and won. He was a bit one
paced. Beluga
kept on for second. The favourite Clonbrin
Mai did suffer crowding on a few occasions, but was never
travelling at any stage.
Butchers
Miss led up in the A4, but was outpaced by Begin
To Hope, who led from the 3/4. He's a little inconsistent, but
is capable on his day. Butchers
Miss kept on for second.
Bell
Imperial set a good early pace in the S1, but could not sustain
the gallop and faded after being headed at the 5th bend. Killeacle
Hobbs took over at the 5th and was run out of it late by Silbury
Squirrel.
Milldean
Tyco led up in the A3, but was dragged back & badly crowded
at the second bend. After an average start Droopys
Hamlet paced up well and was second when left clear at the
second bend. Maneen
Haka started slowly and got a very clear run and followed him
home.
Lockdale
Duke showed decent pace to the bend after a moderate start in
the A2. Julies
Protege got a nice clear run and led at the second bend. Lockdale
Duke headed her between the last two bends before Julies
Protege came back for more and grabbed the lead late on the run
in.
Daphs
Domino set the early pace in the S3 finale. Roxie
ran on strongly after a slow start and pulled clear from the 5th
bend.
