The
opening A8 was a shocker. Matts
Idea plodded on to lead on the run in to win in a pedestrian
30.45. This was just her 2nd win from 23 starts. It does not say
much for the rest that she was able to win returning from season
after just 60 days. Pea
Queue stayed on from off the pace to grab second. Follow
Through had a look at a rivals after being crowded on the run
in.
Comeonthreedog led up in the A7, but he gave valuable ground
away at a few bends and was passed at the third bend.
Castlemary Podge, started slowly, moved off between the first
two bends and ran on to lead from the third bend.
Time Connection broke well and led in the S3, before fading from
bends 5/6.
Jo Jo Rumble started very slowly and got a clear run. He plodded
on a little faster than the other slow old boats and led from the
5/6. The favvy
Roxie was smashed up at the second bend.
Only 4
went to post for the A5. Four runners, yet three different leaders.
First up was
Lurgan Head. He collapsed from the third bend.
Robbies Again showed promise on his debut and led at the 3rd
bend. However, he was green & one paced on the run in.
Cape Spring stayed on to pick him up.
Ballymac Delta led round in the second A5. However, he had an
ease up at the third bend and he faded on the run in.
Directors Time was bumped at the start and stayed on.
Danielles Dora put a late spurt in to lead near the line,
following a slow start and crowding at the first bend.
Scorpio Branch added to the growing fighter tally.
Race 7, an S2 - more fighters & dwellers.
Bobs Express set the pace, but didn't get the trip again and
faded to the rear.
Droopys Jackay challenged & dwelt at 5/6.
Annes Sian finished well and had a proper fight at 5/6.
Witches Petal plugged on and was presented the race.
Sliponein stayed on past the fighters for second.
Lockdale Diamond made all in the A4 for a debut win. He held on
by just half a length from the staying on
Rough Venus.
Lockdale Diamond has a decent Irish run on his card and should
do well..
Ballymac Ken made all to land he A3, following up his win last
week. He looks a decent recruit.
Roll Over Moll kept on for second. The favvy
Milldean Tyco, ran a shocker.
Boy Becca set a good pace up front in the second A3.
Unique Picture gamely picked him up on the run in. This was a
decent performance.
Arry Olt made all to land a weak A2. He held on by a short head
from
Shelbourne Ryan, who as usual, cam from a fair way off the pace.
The draw made the difference here, with
Shelbourne Ryan drawn in the coffin box.
Like Hot Cakes ran wide at the last bend and finished a close
3rd.
Lockdale Lady set a fast early pace in the A1.
Reverse Pace is returning to his peak and showed good pace to
lead from the 4th bend.
Lethal Frankie ran wide and stayed on for second.
Fabregas was sent off a short price in the finale, an S2. He
broke modestly and was KO'd at the first.
Cruising Katie led from the second and held on from
Born For Glory, who stayed on after a desperate start.
