Jumokee
Prince broke averagely in the opening A7, but paced up well to
lead round. He was gunned down on the run in by Directors
Vision. Directors
Vision broke modestly, got a clear run and stayed on to lead on
the run in.
The hurdles H2 was a shocker.
Despite some hairy jumps, Ravestock
Woody made all. Ballymacs
Back kept on for second, losing out by a head.
Annes
Sian made all for a convincing win in the S3. No easing &
checking this week. Witches
Petal plodded on for second.
Elgin
Mabel made all to land the A6. She held on desperately. Clonbrin
Sara refused to go by and and went down by a short head.
January
Sailor led briefly in the A5, but his steering went awry at the
second bend, before his stamina ran out at the 4th bend. Rough
Venus took t up at the second bend and went on to score. Versailles
was downgraded and plugged on for second. He's pretty ungenuine to
be honest.
The first S2 wasn't much of a contest and was
further weakened by the withdrawal of Baran Miami. Wise
Digger led to the 5th bend, but failed to stay. Airtech
Spur took over and held on from True
Frankie, who plodded on at one pace.
Placid
Jill led up in the A4 and the race looked all over. However, she
lost her stride at the 3rd bend and allowed Ballymac
Ken to take over. Ballymac
Ken, who carried kennel confidence, won by a length and a half
from Placid
Jill, who got going again.
Milldean
Tyco led up in the A3, but was barged aside by Arry
Olt at the second bend. Arry
Olt held Milldean
Tyco by half a length. Arry
Olt is not the most genuine, but to his credit, he's won 7 of
his 21 Stow starts.
There was a pile up in the A4,
a KS final. So
Said He, Directors
Time and Lurgan
Head were the chief sufferers. So
Said He looked like he would emerge the leader. Lurgan
Head ran off and joined in. Lastinfirstout
benefited, getting a nice clear run and emerged out of the second
bend in front. Lastinfirstout
ran wide at the 4th bend and won by 2 1/4 lengths from Directors
Time. Directors
Time rode the bump well and should be winning soon based on
this.
After a modest start, Bell
Imperial paced up well and led round in the S2. Again, he failed
to see out the trip and faded on the run in. Droopys
Delia kept on and led near the line from Centaur
Iris, who stayed on after a slow start.
After a
serious bout of seconditus, Pennys
Viva finally came good in the A2. She started very well and made
all the running. After a very slow start, Not
So Jolly stayed on for second.
In the 2nd A2, a KS final, Addington
Ruby made all the running. Like
Hot Cakes got a clear run early and looked the likeliest winner
on the back straight. However, she ran wide at the last bend,
forfeiting valuable ground and went down by a length.
Armies
Mentor led up in the S3 finale. The favvy Baran
Bambi, went down the back straight full of running and it looked
all over. However, Baran
Bambi attacked Armies
Mentor between the last two bends and was shown the red card. Sliponein
cam home a very lucky winner. Droopys
Jackay had a dwell up on the run in and still finished second.
