Multeen
Magic made all in the opening A9 for his first win at the track
on his 7th attempt. Special
Mist plugged on for second.
Wol
made all to land a the H1. Ardmayle
Machine challenged between the last two bends and held every
chance. He went down by 1 1/2 lengths. Chase
The Dream ran a shocker and finished last.
The
A8 was a dreadful race. Inbetween
Dreams made all, was slow at the bends and won a bunch finish. Clune
Ted dwelt at the 4th bend and held every chance. He went down by
half a length. Cassius
Clay lobbed round and finished 3rd. He's one to avoid, I'd have
thought.
Fine
Leg Flyer paced up well to the bend after a slow start and led
up in the second A8. However, he was another to have a dwell up and Tadgells
Emily ran on and took over from between the last two bends. Fine
Leg Flyer held on for second.
Hammer
It Ahead started best in the A7, but failed to see out the trip
and faded from the last bend. Girl
Next Door started slowly, but came home well and was a decent
winner, leading from the last bend. Scorpio
Skippy eased at a few bends, but still managed second. Steeple
Rd Blond ran moderately in third.
Missing
Miss led up in the next A7, but was not fluent at the 3rd bend.
She had a decent battle with Touchwood
Hope, who led between the last two bends. Despite running wide
at the last bend she was well on top on the line. Aoifes
Flight threatened to get involved, but was very one paced from
the last bend.
Genesis
Sister landed a hattrick of wins in the S1. She paced up well to
the bends and led from the second bend. She didn't beat much at all
though here, with the very one paced Swift
Leon finishing second.
Target
Dan started well in the A6, but after being headed at half way,
he was very weak from the 3rd bend. Rockburst
Mason put in an improved effort to land the race. He led from
half way and was a comfortable winner from the one paced Greenfield
Fawn.
Courts
Ad Andy ran very green, but still managed to land the A5, a
kennel sweepstakes final. Twilight
Fantasy was not fluent at the first two bends and plugged on for
second.
Directors
Perk made all in the A4 for his 3rd win from 7 W'stow races. Secret
Dreams ran on late for second. He has a dodgy action and is one
to avoid. Journey
Time was not fluent at the bends and ran below par.
Squires
Son led to the second bend in the A3. Not
So Jolly went well to the bend after a modest start and routed
his field, powering away from the second bend. While the pile up
behind extended the final winning distance, I very much doubt any of
these would have held a returning to form Not
So Jolly.
The finale saw Dubai
Adventure sent off 1-2 favvy in the S2. He took a while to get
to the front, but powered away from the 5th bend. Brians
Bud towed him along to that point and plugged on for second.
