Find
It Out showed some pace to the first bend in the A9 after an
average start, and led between the first two bends. Clune
Ted made a decent race of it after a slow start, she showed some
pace to the first bend and only went down by half a length. Find
It Out is by Lady Be Wise, dam of Who Needs Wings.
Ravestock
Woody made all in another modest hurdle race, a H2. Touchwood
Dream came to challenge and fought with the race at his mercy.
Twice
a beaten favourite on his two outings to date, All
Shaped Up made no mistake on his 3rd attempt in the A8. He broke
well and pulled well clear, winning by 6 3/4 lengths. Choice
Jock was outpaced early and stayed on to finish a remote second.
All
Shaped Up is another by Lady Be Wise.
London
Pride set the early pace in another shocking contest, an S4. Jo
Jo Rumble stayed on after a slow start and led from between the
last two bends. London
Pride was one paced after being headed and finished 4L second.
Shan
Rica made most of the running in the A7. She was caught late by Sandy
Lane, who appeared to have a glance at her rival as she passed
her near the line. Sandy
Lane is by Moscow Sandy, the 2006 Arc finalist.
Sparkys
Stag was sent off 4/7 fav in the A6 and made short work of her
rivals leading early and kicking clear for a facile success. Ringtale
Lad plugged on to finish 6 3/4 L second.
Another
shocking staying contest followed, as S3. Mash
It Up made all and followed up on her recent S4 win. She held on
by just a head from Daphs
Domino.
Katies
Crystal started well and led round in the A5. After a slow
start, Aero
Blackjack drove the first two bends well, ran on and led from
the third. He won very well for what was his first win from 9
attempts. A recent 4th to Westmead Tina highlighted his chance back
in graded company. There will be other days for Katies
Crystal, who possesses early pace.
Roll
Over Moll made all in the A4. Beaten is her last 11 races, she
was a shock 8/1 winner here. Rhias
Beauty was badly crowded at the second bend and kept on well for
second.
Airtech
Spur showed decent early pace in the S2, but failed to see out
the trip. Silbury
Squirrel stayed on and led from the last bend. The favvy, Bell
Tempest was never travelling and ran a shocker.
Noirs
Denis was an impressive winner of the A3. Fear
Mykeo led him up early, but faded from the 3rd bend on her
second run back from seasonal rest. Offshore
Mill nabbed a remote second late on.
Bell
Classic was another decent winner in the A2. He ran a bit wide
throughout, but had far too much pace for his rivals. Blackmagic
Rose plugged on to finish 6L second.
Reverse
Pace landed the A1, although not in his normal trap to line
style. Ringview
Rascal set the early pace, but failed to get home and was headed
between the last two bends. Reverse
Pace stayed on and took it up at his point. Armies
Plan plodded round and finished second. The favourite, Blackstone
Billy, was pretty disappointing. I had a rare night off and was
pleasantly surprised to see Reverse
Pace available at 4/1 on Betfair, having only been 9/4 on the
track.
Snappy
Girl destroyed her rivals in the S1 finale. Although most of her
runs are in marathons, she recorded a 39.78 last June, so was down
in class here. Droopys
Delia stayed on to finish a remote second.
