In the opening A8,
Jo Jo Anne set the early running, but could not sustain the
gallop and faded on the run in.
Rooster Knowles ran on and led at the 4th bend and was a fairly
decent winner for the grade. He may do ok over 6 bends eventually.
Femine Fatale was crowded at the second bend, but kept on and
finished second.
Wol
made all for an easy win in he H1. He's a bit inconsistent, though
has some ability when he puts his best foot forward.
Occupation Blue plugged on to finish 5L second
Witches Petal made all and beat a poor field in the S3.
Droopys Jackay should have won, but had a dwell up between the
last two bends.
Go Ronnie Rocket led up in the A6, but ran out of gas and was
one pace on the run in.
Onbir Dan was not fluent rounding the last two bends, but got on
top near the line.
Droopys Ashley kept on and went down by a head in second.
In the second A6,
Clyfar Cate ran middle from trap two and led up. She ran wide at
the first turn and showed fair pace down to the third bend.
Deans Lu droved the bends well after a modest start and
gradually closed the gap and led on the run in.
Clyfar Cate faded near the line and was caught for second by the
staying on
Sound Of Waves.
Wheres The Girls made all in the S1. She is not the most
consistent, but is ok when she puts her mind to it.
Tiger Scot plugged on for second.
Annandale Chief made the early running in he A5, but did not see
out the trip, and faded to the rear after being headed between the
last two turns.
Directors Star took over at this point, but was out-stayed by
Senahel Pandy on the run in.
Returning from seasonal rest,
Genesis Dream made all in the A4. There was a pile up at he 1st
bend in behind and only
Tanner Butler escaped the trouble. He closed the gap down to 2L
at the line.
Phoenix Gerry caused most of the trouble by running off at the
1st bend. He stayed on for 3rd afterwards.
The same owner/trainer combination struck in the following race, the
M1.
True Frankie made the early running, but is not the strongest of
stayers and faded after being headed between the last two turns.
Genesis Alix stayed on and led from this point.
Lode Of Yank kept on for second.
They went towards the bend in a line in the A2 and
Larkhill Jackie emerged as he leader from the second bend and
was a comfortable winner. The rest did not perform too well.
Buckland Wally was none too fluent round the first two bends and
held on for second from the staying on
Snazzy Rover.
Noirs
Heart trapped really well in the second A2. He took a wide path
on the run up and dished out a real beating to his rivals. This was
his 9th win from 40 W'stow starts, recording a fast 28.53.
Show Vision fared best of the rest, finishing a distant second.
I'm absolutely certain he would have won the following A1 with
something to spare on this performance.
Ronaldos Merit made the most of his trap one draw and made all
in the A1.
Sophie Rose needs to lead to win and followed him home 3L
second.
There was clearly something in the air tonight, as the third
Genesis,
Genesis Sister landed a glorious treble for the company that own
her. She started fast and ran out a very easy winner.
Funky Fantasy plugged on for second.
