Double
Spark trapped best in the A9, but was outpaced on the run to the
bend by Verena.
Double
Spark moved off at the bend and caused a bit of
interference. Effernogue
Fast started slowly and got a lovely clear run round the first
two bends. He stayed on and led nr the line and showed a little
interest in Verena
as he passed him. Perhaps he she was whispering in his ear.
Funky
Lass showed the best EP in the A8 and led until near the line. Banjo
Ocean started slowest of all, got a clear run round the first
two bends and stayed on and led near the line. (5 ran)
Special
Skylar led up in the second A8, but looked to be easing going
into the bend and was badly crowded as he slowed down. Beardys
Kid got to the front at the second after an average break. Scorpio
Skippy started slowly and was last early doors. He really
lengthened his stride down the back straight and ran out an
impressive winner for the grade. leading on the run in. This was not
a bad debut by Beardys
Kid, but he did look a bit one pace in the latter stages of the
race.
Short
Circuit made all in the A7, holding on desperately on the run
in. Classy
Pet turned with every chance in behind and challenged at the
3rd, but could not get on terms. Bold
Talent loomed up at the 3rd as the front runners bunched up, but
ran into trouble and was clumsy. Dubai
Divine started slowly and stayed on and was also clumsy on the
run in.
In the second A7, Jalee
Storm made all. He ran middle on the run to the bend and also
ran wide at the last bend. Kid
Joker started very slowly, but showed some good pace down the
back straight and went down by half a length.
Be
Wise Lady has hit a rich vein of form lately and made it 3 wins
from her last 4 starts when making all in the S1. Coolanga
Flyer turned handy and could not quite get on terms. He is not
very genuine in my view. Shelbourne
Thesa ran a shocker. She fell out of the traps and was never at
the races.
Flying
Fancy showed smart early pace and made all in the A6. Versailles
started slowly, paced up and followed her home, but was one paced
from the 3/4.
Tenbucks
Ebony returned from season with a really impressive win. She
should be up to winning in a few more races in the near future as
she goes through the grades. Mystical
Class ran on well for second and will soon be winning in this
grade. Those who supported her tonight can count themselves a little
unlucky that Tenbucks
Ebony ran so well following seasonal rest.
Harry
Chuckles paced up in the A5, but didn't fancy it and moved aside
at half way. Largo
Lassie started slowly, got a clear run round the first two bends
and led from half way. Eye
Onthe Spark eased at the 3rd as he stayed on and still grabbed
2d from the fading Harry
Chuckles.
Daisyfield
Bella showed a devastating burst of early pace and made all in
the A2. This was her 11th win from 32 runs, an impressive strike
rate by anyone's standards. How on earth has she been beaten on the
Bags at her last two attempts? I doubt she'll be gracing the Bags
service any time soon. Daisyfield
Matti stayed on from from out of the pack for second.
Tinky
Rolls started well in the S2 finale and led until fading on the
run in. Ellron
followed her round, challenged at the wrong point at the 5th bend,
was crowded and faded. Romford
Carthree stayed on and led on the run in. Ebony
Ocean trapped well, was badly outpaced early and stayed on late
to grab second.
