Emly
Outlaw made a winning debut in the opener for Mr Harvey. He was
slow away, crowded at the second, but ran on to lead at the 4th bend
for a comfortable success. Keen
Promise led up to the 4th bend but faded. Swahv
Move was a long second and is not really worth a mention.
(Large apologies to the owner)
Special
Vision landed a gamble both on and off-course for Dogolphin Two
in the A9. It was a messy race. Special
Vision was crowded at the second, showed some middle pace and
was again done at the 3rd bend. He still had enough in the locker to
get on top near the line. There was lots of incidents in the race,
but these events are best written off.
Comeontheblues
and Questhouse
Jimmy broke smartly and contested the lead in the hurdles event.
Unfortunately, Comeontheblues
went lame at the second bend. Questhouse
Jimmy led until fading on the run in. His high tail position
suggested he was not 100% sound. Too
Much Trouble kept on to lead near the line. Firm
Handed was a bit high at a few hurdles, but kept on for second.
Cheeky
Johney showed some decent early pace after a modest start in the
A8. He made all from the second bend, and hung on desperately after
going very wide at the last bend. Tadgells
Emily plodded on for second. Cutie
Pie eased at the 3rd bend in behind.
Endofthelist
made all to land the S3. He did not beat much at all, but did it
comfortably. Shaunas
Celtic plugged on for second. King
And Tinker was not really racing, but still grabbed third. Best
not to mention the others...
Smoking
Jet won the A7 for Vinny Jones. I doubt that he made the effort
to travel to the track for this one, though it may have been a tough
decision between Hollywood and Walthamstow tonight. Smoking
Jet got a clear run round the first two bends, checked off and
was crowded at the second bend. He straightened up, stayed on, and
led on the run in. Unlikely
Sam followed him home. Target
Dan made the early running before running wide at the last bend
and fading.
Alibulk
Flash won the A6, despite lacking some pace in the middle of the
race. Tenbucks
Ebony took up the running at the 4th bend and looked set to
score, but Alibulk
Flash out-stayed her.
Treacle
Rose made all in the A4. She looked extremely vulnerable off the
last bend and many at the track thought she's got caught. We just
had to have a dead heat at the track and this time it was a dead
heat for second and third between Granard
Sam and Harlequin
Snowy, who were allegedly a short head behind the winner.
Black
Horse made the most of a plot draw on the rails to sluice home
in the A3. Siesta
Romeo turned second, but faded on the run in. Droopys
Top Lad grabbed a long second on the run in. Kilgraney
Agassi did not look sound in behind.
Droopys
Faldo led up for a short while in the A2, before changing into
reverse gear. Fenland
Lark produced an average break, before driving the bend to lead
off the second bend. She made all from that point and Directors
Tale never seemed likely to get to the front.
Reverse
Pace made all to land the A1 impressively. He's been
running well for a while and this was the best performance of the
evening. War
Of Attrition could never get on terms. Shelbourne
Ryan was crowded on the run up and could not get near to
challenge.
Wheres
Natalie was one for the layers in the last. After a very slow
start she stayed on best of all to lead on the run in. Owtoftowna
towed her along until the 5th bend and held on for second..
