Rizzler sent his
owners home
with the giggles
Walthamstow Report
17 Apr 2007
An ordinary graded card.
Missed the first two, late home from work and a
late cabbo.
Wol
made the early running in the hurdles event. Castledale
Lad looked like he would take it up off the 2nd bend, but
perhaps he was giving them a chance. He led at the 3rd bend and won
the race comfortably enough. Kaysers
Hill threatened to get involved but is not too genuine and again
settled for a minor role. Castledale
Lad is owned by those nice lads from CH 425/854. Well done lads
on another victory!
Raithby Patricia led up in the A8, but could
not hold Honcho
Dan. Honcho
Dan was slow away, moved off at the second, ran on and led
between the last two bends. Silk
Tie stayed on for second after a slow start.
Both Paid
In Cash and Lockwood
Littljo showed some early pace in the A7. Lockwood
Littljo got the better of the early argument before All
Clued Up gave him a fright. All
Clued Up stayed on quite well, but lost the battle by running
wide at the last bend. Lockwood
Littljo is a beautiful looking dog, who I'd be happy to own. He
is a very nice scopey dog and he runs the rails really tightly.
He'll win his share.
Canary
Fantasy broke well and led up in the S3 before his stamina gave
way between the last two bends. There was plenty of jostling in this
shoddy excuse for a race. Cool
Nelly capitalised to stay on and lead on the run in.
July
Captain made all in the A6. He ran like a jealous dog. He let
them come to him at the last bend then pulled out more. These dogs
normally win a good share of races. Like
Hot Cakes stayed on for second on her debut. Like
Hot Cakes is by Kinda Sleepy, who was a multiple 6 bend open
race winner. She is a bit on the small size though.
Courts
Ad Man made all to land the second A6 for John Coleman. Run
Along has been running well, but again had to settle for a minor
role.
Boy
Becca was a well supported Jolly, who never gave his supporters
a moments anxiety. He was thrown in here and made no mistake, making
all. Silky
Rose was very slow away, but stayed on for second.
Fear
Martina was another well backed favourite to oblige at short
odds. She broke well and there was plenty of bother in behind and
she skipped clear. Oscars
Market and Droopys
Delia stayed on from out of the pack for a remote second and
third respectively.
Legal
Flyer was another trap to line victor in the moderate A4. True
Fowler held every chance and went down by a neck.
Droopys
Fabregas gave his rivals a start and a beating in the second A4.
He finished with a real flourish to lead near the line. Fionntra
Dara had made the early pace, but faded on the run in.
Blue
Rizzler broke averagely but produced some fair early pace and
made all the running to land the A2. Crying
Shame made a race of it after being upgraded for her A3 win.
There was only a short head in it at the line. The winning time was
a fair 28.89.
Mystical
Class seemed to outclass the field in the closing S2. She hit
the front at the 4th bend and won the race comfortably. Toosey
Tina showed some early before checking at the 5th bend. Fionntra
Lisa also checked between the first two bends, but plodded on
for second.
