Report 27 Feb 2007
Farloe
Focus cracked out and made all in the first and held off Clonbrin
Show
Greenlough
Power disappointed in the 2nd race. Blonde Cindy broke well,
before fading and Perceptive
Pacey Won a three way bunch finish.
Head
Iton Jordan roared home at short odds in the 880m marathon.
Snazzy
Time was a fortunate winner of the hurdles event. Kaysers
Hill led and refused and Broadacres
Danran up ST's arse at the 4th.
Risk
Related was impressive in the Invitation race. Ronnies
Champion moved off at the 2nd bend and was a bit disappointing. Fear
Daniel ran ok. Cagey
Luke ran wide at the bends.
January
Tiger won well in the 6th OR. He took up the running from Bernard
between the first two turns and made most of the running.
Cobra
Striking
returned to his brilliant best when making all to land the 2nd
invitation race. Zigzag
Dutchman was slightly crowded on the run up, before staying on. Eye
Onthe Veto stayed on very well after interference at the
2nd bend.
There was a pile up in the 835m marathon. Blonde
Pearl led after the trouble and held off Droopys
Rokocoko who held every chance.
The Arc final looked to contain a disappointing field. However,
the actual race was an exciting event.
Too
Risky cracked out and made all and held off Zigzag
Dutchy by the narrowest of margins. Zigzag
Dutchy lacked a bit off pace off the second bend after
turning handy and came home particularly well, but could not get on
terms with winner.
Geordie
Bill led off the second and won the puppy stayers very
comfortably indeed. Double
Top had a dwell up off the pace at the 5th bend.
Comeontheblues
had a dwell up again after holding more than every chance in the
maiden OR. Nightshade
took up the invitation to take up the running near the line.
The favvy Cunning
Bertie won the 6 bend hurdle event. I doubt if many were interested
really.
Lenson
Express went off very short on the back of a smart trial, but
could not reproduce it in tonight's race. He was slow away and
plugged on for second. The rag Kinda
Sure broke well but could not sustain the gallp and Eye
Onthe Gift took over.
Mitzie
was an impressive winner of the weakly contested finale. Allowed to
start at a generous 6/4 shot, she broke smartly and never saw
another rival.
