Nah support no chi chi and we nah support no raper - Walthamstow Report 30 Jan 2007

Most of this evening’s races consisted of an evening Bags card, with few highlights.

The first event was won by Kinda Busy who won a bunch finish after Redec King ran ca 490m after running as wide as possible on this 475m race. The 2nd race was taken by Lens Return, who produced his best break to date. Despite a bump at the first, he ran away from his field here. The well supported Matomi Sparkle would seem to be looking for the Edgware straights.

The thrilling hurdles event was slung away by the high jumping, and possibly not 100% sound, Windgap Henry.  Omeugo Mison won for the prolific top trainer Dickie Hawkes.

The A7 was won by the Seamus Cahill trained Poacher Man in runaway fashion. Despite a slow start, he took up the running at half way and ran away from the “trees”.

Ciarans Prince was another winner for the prolific top trainer Dickie Hawkes when leading at the 4th turn and winning the dreadful S4.  Ciarans Prince missed the break, but showed some fair EP.

Stress Relief returned from season to land a modest A7 for the Puzey Kennel.

Funcheon Rebel was a strongly backed favourite who made all to land the A6. Run Along ran along and nearly caught the weakening favourite. Keen For More was another winning favourite in the A6. He broke well and made all. He comfortably held Google Ruby, who was outpaced to the first, but stayed on.

Old Jamaikey dissed his rivals and teked his rivals to pieces. His rivals never gwan a look in. He has pace in abundance and has time to wait for his rivals to catch him up at various points in his races.

Sophie Rose won well in the A3, she did not face too much competition in truth. Eye Onthe Flame broke modestly and led at the first to win the A4. Mystical Music was bumped on the run up and 2nd and ran on well to be beaten only half a length. In a race that lacked EP, Perceptive Pacey was always going to figure here. After a few disappointing runs, he led up and was unimpressive in beating Bell Classic, who broke ok and held every chance.  The last went the way of the well backed Hoylake Claire, who ruined her rivals after a tardy start.

Thanks to Elephant Man (There’s a small chance that he may not be reading this) for inspiring an Old Jamaikey related headline. I’m not sure quite what it means, but who gives a *uck?

One to watch

Old Jamaikey (I like this "spirited" performer
