3.45 York Sky Bet Dash Heritage
Handicap 6F Good to firm
Horses to consider
Stevie Gee - Beaten 1L by Lady Grace
at Sandown and on that form looks like he is well weighted for this
dash on the quick ground at York. The run behind Knot in Wood he was
beaten fair and square in, but maybe with more forceful tactics
today under Kerrin Mcevoy and the yard in flying form could well see
this horse much more at home over six furlongs having gone close
before on quick ground and in a decent enough handicap at Newcastle
behind Barney Mcgrew.
Blue Tomato - Has done very well for
new connections since the change from Milton Bradley yard to the
sprint king Dandy Nichols and even though he is very exposed he
looks very well weighted on the best of his form he has achieved for
his current trainer and with the ground very fast underfoot there is
no reason why he cant make the best of his way home under these
conditions. The claimer takes the weight of and the Hamilton win has
him tied in nicely with My Gacho who chased his shadow home that
day.
My Gacho - Making hay for the inform
Braveheart Stable of Mark Johnston now after transferring out from
the David Barron yard and has claims of turning around the form with
Blue Tomato despite the weights today, the quick ground should suit
this horse who won when dropped in class by a couple of levels and
despite that win and the fact he is quite exposed he should be able
to go well of this weight with the rivals in this race after the
numerous amount of non-runners this morning making it look a top
class 3 handicap to a class 2 handicap and not heritage class race.
Advised Bet - Blue Tomato
2pts win @ 16-1 (BF20's) + My Gacho
1pt @ 12-1 (BF14's)
Well Chief
