Handicap class 4 14F good ground
Horses to consider
Rajeh (6/1) - Finished 3rd to Desert
Sea who didn't have much of a chance today in the big handicap at
Newcastle. But this horse has a much easier task tonight, and even
though never a factor in the handicap at Sandown last time, he
should have enough about him to beat these tonight with the edge
just taken of on the ground in terms of speed. Liam Jones is riding
well at the moment and given the mixed fortunes of the runners
against him tonight, he could have yet another winner for a yard
that does well at this track.
Industrial Star (14/1) - could be a
big price in this small field handicap tonight. The drop back in
trip is taken to improve this horse, after failing to stay the trip
last time on soft ground. With the ground better for tonight's race,
he should have a good chance of bouncing back to some sort of form.
Looks handicapped well at the foot of the weights and with
Stringsofmyheart out of the race, he could well dictate the pace and
have an easy lead here tonight, for a jockey that rode a fine race
from the front today in the Northumberland plate.
Rudry World (12/1) - Another that
looks overpriced and caught the eye at Haydock two runs back, where
he stayed on well from off the pace, in a race that wasn't run to
suit his style. The trip suits, and if the jockey takes closer order
tonight, he could well out stay these as he seems to have a turn of
foot to strike off here tonight. The winner that day has gone on to
frank the form and even though Rudry World didn't do to much last
time at Chester, where he missed the break and could never recover,
he should be given another chance in handicaps such as this, it
isn't the strongest staying handicap and even though it is a race
for seasoned stayers who have a good record, he could progress on in
this race.
