7.35 Windsor Totesport E B F
Handicap class 4 (3yo 0-80) 12F good
1 Prince Nureyev Doesnt
seem to have the ability of old when looking a decent handicapper
when winning in a good time at Newbury and if he was to rediscover
that level of form he would run away with this race today. Recent
form has him as a also run and even though this may not hold such
opposition as Greek well in, he should struggle to give weight away
to something more progressive. Tracksuits on 2nd and ground should
suit.
My Tissue Price 8/1
2 Pocketwood Big
disappointment when beaten out of sight at Carlisle and the race in
which he did win when dictating a slow pace at Folkestone is
starting to find him out at the weights as he was given a soft lead
and took full advantage of that fact. Hard to find to much to give
him claims after the last run and in a similar field it all relays
on whether or not he will get the run of the race upfront which
doesnt look likely.
My Tissue Price 20/1
3 Tender Falcon Still
lives in the memory when he denied me a big winning bet at Epsom
when beating Balkan Knight who has gone on to progress too much
better races while Tender Falcon has had a injury and been sparingly
used to not good effect. Didnt stay last time at Goodwood but at
least showed some signs that he may be returning back to form. This
trip should be more to his liking then the 2M last times and the
ground under foot should be ideal. A strong gallop should suit him
and he is handicapped to go well in what looks his easiest
assignment for quite sometime.

4 Prime Powered Very much
lost his way of late after finishing well down the field on his last
two starts in which he was tailed off on both occasions. Falling
down the handicap as a result he is well handicapped if you take his
Newbury handicap win over 10F last season. Showed nothing over
further since winning a muddling affair on the all weather track of
Kempton and may not stay this trip at a good gallop. The last run
dropped back to possibly his more favoured trip was a poor effort
and potentially has something to prove since leaving Gary Moore yard
for Ralf Beckett.
My tissue price 7/1
5 Cavallini Has been
knocking on the door of late and looks like he may finally lose his
handicap maiden tag here. A very good effort here last time when 5th
to Kerrimuir Lass who may turn out to be half decent in handicaps.
The ground tonight should be ideal as its likely to touch on the
fast side of good in my view and taking the effort in a staying race
last year at Newbury behind Stoop to Conquer in which he was
hampered and didnt see the extra furlong out, he has solid claims
as he travelled very well for most of that race. This trip looks
ideal and the blinkers should help.
My Tissue price 6/1
6 Classic Role
Disappointing horse in general as he always has been one that should
win more races then he actually does. Should have taken a notable
scalp over hurdles when cantering all over Straw Bear, but once
again showed that he has a willingness to go down with out a fight
and his chances are based on old form and if he is on a going day on
his return to the flat.
My Tissue price 16/1
7 Dove Cottage Should
make the race interesting up front with Pocketwood and could easily
end the chances of that rival here. Has gone close in his last 3
starts without threatening to win either of those races and majority
of those races were where he was allowed to dictate the tempo and
have the run of the race. Not likely to get a easy time of it here
and yet to show enough speed to win on this type of ground, others
appeal more.
My tissue price 18/1
8 Medieval Maiden Didnt
handle soft ground when returning to the turf and is still
relatively unexposed on turf ability having shown a good level of
ability on debut when going close on debut on good to firm ground.
Certain to have improved since his debut after progressing on the
all weather and is interesting back on a sounder surface on the
turf.

9 Oakley Heffert Finished
well over this trip when failing to peg back the winner and that
race was half decent with Hi Calypso well beaten in behind who has
gone on to win a decent race since. Handles the course well on that
showing in a 3yo handicap and has claims on better ground then the
run at Salisbury suggested. Stays the trip and Richard Hannon is in
flying form at present. He has failed not to show his best running
here and has claims getting weight from the older horses.
My Tissue price 11/4
10 Polish Red Well beaten
when first here and another who has a s form line with Hi Calypso
who beat him easy. A half brother to Norcroft there could be reasons
to suggest that these middle distance races are a little to taxing,
but a course and distance win last time on soft ground suggest that
he will stay in a truly run race after doing so last time. Better
class of opponents today he showed plenty of pace on conditions like
this as a 2yo including when showing up well 4th on his debut run.
My tissue Price 9/2
11 Mr Mischief Best form
has come on the all weather in which he is ultra consistent on
having failed only once to place. Well beaten by King of the Moors
on last start on conditions as quick as this and was bitterly
disappointing when never figuring last time in a very poor handicap
at Yarmouth. Yet to win on turf on the flat and hard to see him
winning at a higher class then he has done on his beloved All
weather.
