UEFA cup
Preview - 29 Nov 2007
Getafe
vs Hapoel Tel Aviv. UEFA Cup. Thursday 19:45.
One of the bankers of the round on paper. In-form La Liga outfit
Getafe, hosting crisis club Hapoel.
The Israelis are rock-bottom of their domestic league, and have
been comfortably dispatched by Spurs and Anderlecht (both 2-0) in
this competition. They are also still without a coach, and have lost
their last four away games.
Getafe on the other hand, are one of the form sides in La Liga.
After a disappointing start, Michael Laudrup has turned things
around in spectacular fashion. It has taken a while for the Danish
Legend to find the right balance, but his side now pose a
significant attacking threat, while the defence is functioning as
effectively as during the Schuster-era. The only real problem is the
lack of an out-and-out goalscorer, since Daniele Guiza left for
Mallorca. Sergio Ramos is the only player to have breached their
defence in the last six home games, with a goal that should never
have been allowed to stand.
Side with Getafe to keep it clean once more. The 'no goal' market
represents slightly better value than the price about a Getafe win
to nil.
Recommendation: 4pts Either side
not to score @ 8/11. Bet365.
